Wanted to say thanks to Steve, Andrew and the rest of the team at Bendigo Toyota! We love our new 86 GTS and were really impressed by the service we received. Couldn't believe how quickly you got it in for us!
On Wednesday my daughter's 86 wouldn't start, all attempts to recharge the battery using two different battery chargers failed.
A check of the Toyota Warranty book showed that Batteries have a 12 month 100% warranty and a up to 24 months 50% warranty. A call to Bendigo Toyota Service Department on Thursday morning suggested we try jump starting the 86 and bring it in to Bendigo to replace the battery under the half/half warranty.
We got the 86 jump started but when we tried to drive it down the road there was a loss of power and the central console nav/media console also reset itself while driving.
We called Bendigo Toyota back and informed the Service Manager, Chris about our concerns about trying to drive the 86 75kms to Bendigo. Chris quickly got a battery in for us and then got Steve to come out and personlly fit a new battery later that afternoon.
