Allyson is part of the New Vehicle Sales team here at Bendigo Toyota, which means Allyson spends her time helping people choose a vehicle that suits their needs.

Allyson started with Bendigo Toyota in 2005 without any knowledge of cars, and truthfully just needed a job – however very quickly found her feet and discovered that she was a natural at helping people with making a purchase decision that, whilst is exciting, can also be quite daunting.

Allyson fell in love with the DeAraugo family, and really admires the family run business that is Bendigo Toyota: “Everyone is friendly, and they are very easy to work for.”

The Wow Factor for Allyson is very personal – in her own words “that Paul DeAraugo would employ a middle-aged woman with no experience with cars speaks volumes of his talent to pick people and their untapped potential.”

Allyson aims to repay Paul in spades by working hard, always being happy and giving more than is asked of her.

Allyson’s favourite part of her job is the delivery of vehicles, and she constantly walks around the dealership singing.

Allyson’s favourite Toyota model is the Corolla because “it doesn’t miss a beat, and is an all-round great package.”

Allyson has a large family that she cherishes. With her husband Rod, they have six shared children ranging from 27 to 11, which means Allyson spends her spare time playing Wii, Monopoly, and driving kids to various locations. Allyson is also very excited about becoming a grandparent for the first time in July.

The perfect day for Allyson is sitting on the porch in the sun reading a good book.
