Dealer Principal Paul De Araugo has been in the Toyota family since the age of 19 when he started his career as a Sales Cadet at a dealership in Melbourne going on to become Sales Manager at this dealership. In 1986 Paul together with his wife Sue and their first child Kate returned to Bendigo and he became Sales Manager at Bendigo Toyota.

In 1993 Paul owned his own car yard in Kangaroo Flat under the name of Central Victorian Car Sales where he spent 7 years in the used car market.

In June 2000 Bendigo Toyota was for sale and Paul together with his business partner Ian Castles who had been his business advisor and accountant whilst owing Central Victorian Car Sales seized the opportunity and purchased the dealership from Jim Vernon.

In June 2010 General Manager Leon Yeates joined Bendigo Toyota to become a partner in the business and together with Paul lead the team of 49 staff. Like Paul, Leon started his career with Toyota as a Sales Cadet in a Melbourne dealership back in 1998 and went on to become Assistant New Car Manager prior to moving dealerships to become New Vehicle Sales Manager and then General Manager.
